I am Dan Liu, the independent site builder behind Wedding Budget Planner. I am not a wedding professional, financial adviser, lawyer, venue operator or vendor marketplace.

I have been married for over ten years. I built the planner as a project to make the full cost of vendor quotes easier to compare.

Wedding Budget Planner is free, needs no account and stores planning data only in the visitor's browser.

How the guides are written

The guides use fictional examples, and each fictional example is labeled as fictional. When a guide includes survey figures, it links to the organization that published them.

I plan to add real vendor price information from published package pages and interviews with couples. I will label those materials clearly when they are added.

The site does not sell vendor rankings or placement. Its examples do not promote any venue, caterer, photographer or retailer.

If I find an error, I fix it. When I make a real change to a page, I update its displayed date.
